Love that Surpasses Knowledge

I was reading Ephesians 3:14-21 this morning and this phrase just highlighted out of the page...
"and to know this love that surpasses knowledge..."
 
I had to pause and reread this line and passage over and over again.
 
Ever increasing, over the years, I am convinced that love is the key to so many things, including personal relationships, the purpose of life, the reason for creation, and the key to our relationship with God. Not to say that knowledge is no longer needed or valuable, but realizing that sometimes there is a logical man/self-made cap on our understanding to the possibilities of who God is and how we view others.
 
The love of Christ is the key that unlocks what seems like impossible doors to endless possibilities, pathways, and shut & hardened hearts. What's even more mindblowing is that through relationship with His Spirit and funneling Christ's love in personal relationships in our lives, it magnifies and expands dimentions of power in us that we had no previous understanding. 
 
Another line that hit me was:  
 "...he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,  so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith."  
 
It's so amazing that even in faith, Christ even gives the power to strengthen our inner being, SO THAT He can dwell in our hearts. God gives everything! All components, power and avenues for us to connect to Him. We just need to release ourselves over to Him!
 
There are different reactions to feeling weak or powerless.  One of my trigger reactions is being under examination and now breaking...which is to retrack or hermit away.
 
There are wonderful times to recollect and to find rest in the Lord, being "under the shadow of His wings" (light, love & rest--being exposed so God will deal with the darkness). This is not that I am referring to, but to the instances where I hide as a result of shame, guilt, anger or disobedience.
 
This is not running towards God but I end up running into my "comfort zone" or "safe place", not realizing that I'm sitting in shadows of darkness (control/pride/wallowing).
 
Again, what's so amazing is that the Spirit of God can strengthen our inner beings with power, SO THAT through faith, Jesus may dwell in our hearts... (and not darkness.) He has everything set up for us to succeed! He has made the way out! This gives a whole new spin to I Corithians 10:13! 

Ephesians 3:14-21

"For this reason I kneel before the Father,  from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name.  I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,  so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love,  may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,  and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
 
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. "
 

I Corinthians 10:13

 "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. "
