Happy Kislev! A month of remembrance of thanksgiving, dreams & miracles!
November just turned the corner and something interesting will happen this year on Thanksgiving day that hasn't occurred since 1863 (when President Lincoln first established the holiday of Thanksgiving in the U.S.) Hanukkah and Thanksgiving fall on the same day! This occurrence will not happen again until the year 79,811.
Since Hanukkah is a celebration of lights (Light overcoming darkness, God's protection His people, remembrance of His miracles, dreams & visions and concentration of His temple), starting tomorrow, I am making an effort to blog every day until Dec. 5th to recall, remember, testify, celebrate what God has done according to these themes of the Hanukkah & Thanksgiving celebration! (Nov 5th - Dec 5th!) They probably will not be in any particular order but as it comes into remembrance.
