Maneuvering through mine fields
I'm just having a wow moment and just wanted to share.
I just reread Marsha Burn's word for Nov. 3rd and I realized it is exactly what I heard in this past Sunday's teaching from Robert Heidler when he talks about the honey bee trained to detect land mines.
As the enemy is placing hidden traps along our path, God is encouraging us that He can navigate us and give us the forewarning and the wisdom to maneuver past these traps. By taking in his word which is like honey to our lips, we will be warned. There is no reason to fear, only to take note and move forward!
Follow the honey bee to the honeycomb, because the honeybee can detect where the land mines are! :)
"...the ordinances of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey, and drippings of the honeycomb.
Moreover by them is your servant warned in keeping them there is great reward."
~ Psalm 19:9b-11
